Our Cleaning Staff

We have a dedicated cleaner to help us clean and prepare Lavender Barn for your stay. When cleaning, we always ensure social distancing is maintained and we thoroughly wash and sanitise our hands when entering or leaving the barn. We wear disposable gloves, aprons, and a mask or face visor when cleaning and presenting the property ready for your stay. We also ensure that the barn is well ventilated during the time we are cleaning.

Our Cleaning Standards

We have the highest of cleaning standards and always ensure that Lavender Barn is meticulously clean and tidy for all our guests. We have prepared a detailed checklist of all cleaning requirements. This includes undertaking extra sanitising of all door handles, furniture, cupboards, handrails, bathroom fittings and common touch points, including keys, hairdryers, highchairs and TV remote controls.

Our Cleaning Products and Equipment

When cleaning the barn we only use professional single use cleaning products, detergents and antibacterial virucidal disinfectant. We also hygienically sanitise all rooms using ULV Fogging to ensure any soft surfaces such as upholstery or hard to reach surfaces are disinfected.

Kitchen Utensils

Lavender Barn is very well equipped with kitchen utensils, crockery and glassware. Crockery and cutlery has been washed in the dishwasher, and all kitchen appliances are cleaned prior to every guest stay. We ask that guests ensure that all kitchen items you have used during your stay are washed before vacating the property.

Laundry

Linens, towels and laundry are washed as appropriate to manufacturer’s standards and professionally ironed and pressed.

Patio Area

The garden furniture and BBQ are also thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
