Lavender Barn

Nestled in the heart of the Village of Dersingham on the outskirts of the famous Royal Sandringham Estate; and just 2 miles from the beautiful and unspoilt Norfolk coastline, this outstanding self catering barn, sleeping up to 6, combines traditional period features with modern luxury and style.

Built in 1750, the Barn has been reconstructed using the original Norfolk carrstone and hand cut chalk. It is tastefully presented, superbly equipped and attracts visitors all year round.

Lavender Barn lies on the flight path of one of nature's unique spectacles - you can witness the dawn and dusk skies full of pink footed geese as they head from their roost to feeding grounds flying low overhead in a V shaped formation.

This idyllic hideaway is a perfect place to relax and take away the stresses of busy life. A delightful base from which to explore the dramatic North West Norfolk coastline and its sandy beaches, the RSPB reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell, the stately homes of Houghton, Holkham and Sandringham - famed also for their craft and country fairs, and the nationally acclaimed Sandringham Flower show.

We are in an area of outstanding natural beauty in which you can enjoy many walks and the hidden treasures of unspoilt villages, windmills and the market towns of Wells, Holt, Blakeney and the Burnhams to name but a few.

The local area is steeped in rich history and heritage - from Kings Lynn and its Medieval roots to Castle Rising and Burnham Thorpe - The birthplace of Norfolk’s most famous Son, Horatio Nelson.

We are uniquely placed for you to enjoy some of the best links golfing in the country with the Old Hunstanton and Royal Brancaster courses located close by.

Just one hour away is the fine city of Norwich famous for its stunning cathedral, Norman castle and quaint cobbled streets lined with some of the best retail therapy in the region.

A welcome hamper, towels, and luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen all add to the comfort of your stay.
